Even after more than two weeks of its release, Vivek Agnihotri's 'The Kashmir Files' is still going strong on box office. The film based on killings and subsequent exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in 1990 has been a success on all fronts and several Bollywood celebrites have also praised and appreciated it.

Recently, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui shared that although he hasn't watched the film yet, he'll watch it pretty soon. The actor was then asked whether some people in Bollywood are opposed to the subject matter of 'The Kashmir Files'. In response to this, while speaking at Ideas of India Summit, Nawaz said, I have no idea about that. But, every director has a style and point of view for making films. He made a film from his point of view, which is good. Others will also make films from their perspectives, in the future. And, that is great.

Extrapolating his point further, Nawazuddin Siddiqui stated, When a filmmaker makes a film, he/she does so from his perspective, with a unique style of viewing things. It should be allowed for any filmmaker to add their own perspective even to films based on real incidents. I cannot speak anymore on this as I have not watched the film.
