Dhanush is the Tamil actor who has been making huge waves across the country and abroad with his bold choice of roles and his multilingual star appeal. His recent outing 'Asuran' directed by Vettrimaaran in which he has played the role of a fifty-year-old has received rave reviews and is touted to sweep all major awards for this year.

Shamas Nawab Siddiqui, the brother of 'Petta' star Nawazuddin Siddiqui has shared on social media "Just finished to watch a film's collection of superstar @dhanushkraja .... impressed, defiantly I will try to work with him with a good script in future .. (SM post not spell checked).

Shamas Siddiqui has completed his debut movie 'Bole Chidiyan' starring Nawazuddin and Tamannaah in the lead roles and will soon start filming his next 'Gehu, Ganna aur Gun' and is said to be interested in casting Dhanush as the lead. It remains to be seen if this collaboration will materialize any time soon.
