The 'Petta' team is getting fans curiosity all worked up by releasing the important character posters of the cast and yesterday it was Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi as Jithu who rocked the internet. Today the team has unveiled the intense look of one of India's most respected and intense actors Nawazuddin Siddique.

It has been revealed that Nawazuddin plays Singaar Singh and his bespectacled look gives great inner depth to his character leaving that wee bit of doubt whether it could be a positive, negative or grey shaded one. The greatest news is this mesmerizing performer's entry into Tamil cinema and that too in Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Petta'.

'Petta' directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Sun Pictures with music score by Anirudh Ravichander has the dream cast of Rajinikanth, Trisha, Simran, Nawazuddin Siddique, Bobby Simha, Guru Somasundaram, Megha Akash, Muniskanth with Sasikumar and Vijay Sethupathi. The mega flick is slated for release on Pongal 2019.
