Navya Nair is currently busy acting in half-a-dozen in various languages including Tamil and Kannada.

Keenly awaiting the release of her Pathaaka, she says, 'It is a movie which would certainly speak at the box office'.

Malayalam movies provides more scope for the heroines to perform. It is the reason why actresses from Malayalam are beginning to dominate in other language movies also. Actresses will be able to demonstrate their capabilities only if they are given powerful roles to play.'

Asked whether she would try her luck in Bollywood also, Navya says, 'Few years ago, I got an offer from Ram Gopal Verma. Unfortunately the movie has been dropped. Since I don't want to play glamour roles, I did not accept acting in Hindi movie though I got offers to act opposite the likes of Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan in Hindi'.
