Navya Nair, the young actress from Kerala seems to surprise everyone with her remarks and actions.

The actress, who was slowly and steadily building a good career in Malayalam, suddenly shifted her base to Tamil following a couple of offers from Tamil. She was doing a better job there too.

"Tamil cinema is obsessed with glamour and frankly I have nothing to do in the language which is the only reason why you aren't seeing me in that many films these days" said the actress.

But Just now, Navya is again giving surprises by signing in two films with better heroes, that too in Tamil.

The first of the newly agreed films is with Srikanth titled ‘Ettappan’. Navya plays the role of a Brahmin girl in the film while Srikanth is the notorious rowdy who falls in love with her.

The second film titled ‘Vallamai Thaarayo' has her with Madhavan. Debutante Madhumita is directing this film which will go to floors within a couple of months.
