Navya Nair created a sensation in Tamil filmdom by pointing fingers at producer-director Thangar Bachchan for not paying her remuneration for acting in his Chidambarathil Oru Appasamy, a movie which is a remake of Srinivasan's Sintha Vishtaya Shyamala.

In spite of all the hurdles, the movie was completed and was released and did an average business.

Thangar has commenced his next Palli Koodam, which again is a remake of Srinivasan's Malayalam hit English Medium.

Asked whether she would act again in Thangar's movie again, Navya says, 'why not? If I am convinced with the storyline and get an opportunity to play a powerful role, I would.'

Brave girl, indeed.
