The closure of less attendance Kannada schools is what witnessed in the rural areas. The minimum attendance is the basic requirement for maintaining such schools says the government policy. A film titled Prarthane` was made by senior journalist Sadashiva Shenoy with well known stars like Ananthnag, Prakash Rai and others. Now one more Kannada film on the state of affairs of Kannada schools is focused in Navila Kinnari`. The female protagonist through her classical dance forges ahead to keep up the school in running condition is the concept of writer VL Prakash, Hulikal Nataraj and director Venki Chella.The Kannada Sahitya Praishat President Manu Baligar released audio CD of Navila Kinnari` and expressed belief that this film will be a complete clean film for family audience.
Venki Chella although hails from Andhra Pradesh has taken Kannada speaking people in his first venture. Navila Killari has classical backdrop and concern for the state of Kannada schools. How the classical dancer takes up the cause is interestingly merged in this film. Chella has made ad films in Hyderabad. Kumari Himaansi from Hyderabad makes her debut in Kannada cinema as classical dancer. Srinivasaprabbhu is in major role while his wife Rajani Prabhu has penned two songs for this film.
Subhash Anand also from Andhra Pradesh has composed music for four songs and the audio was brought to the market by Hulikal Audio. Sharat HN, Basavanna, Gangadharaiah, Prakash Angadi, Sooryaprakash made this film in Hulikal Entertainment Studios. Srinivas Vinnikota is cameraman for this film. 10 children have acted in this film.Hulikal Nataraj known for his works in disproving the superstition in the society, author of 14 books thanked VL Prakash for his concept. How to save the Kannada school is the task of classical dancer. On his topical films Hulikal Nataraj says he has two producers to make films.
