It wouldn't be an overstatement to say that Naveen Polishetty is a rising pan-Indian star. Naveen left the job in a big software firm to pursue a career in acting. He worked in theatre, performed plays and stand-up comedy. He made his debut with Telugu film Life is Beautiful(2012). He played minor roles in Tollywood.

Polishetty returned to Tollywood with the comedy thriller 'Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya', which he co-wrote and played the lead. Naveen dazzled the audience with his humor and moved them with his performance. Not only the Tollywood audience but also people from other states were amazed by the movie. He gained a set of audience for him with just one film. He won the 'Best Find of the Year' award at the Zee Cine Awards.

The comedy star then made his Bollywood debut in Nitesh Tiwari's Chichhore. He co-starred late actor Sushant Singh Rajput in the same. His role 'Acid' became popular among fans.

Naveen Polishetty then starred in Jathi Ratnalu (2021). It got a huge opening due to his increasing fanbase. The film thus emerged as Polishetty's biggest success. The role 'Jogipet Srikanth' is "terrific" and "a charming everyman". Polishetty will reprise the role in the movie's sequel.

Recently, some Tamil fans of Naveen have been tweeting about him. He replied to one of their tweets and announced that he will make his Tamil debut soon and said that he's been listening to Tamil scripts. He used to be work as a theatre artist in Chennai. He is all set to treat his Tamil fans.

Naveen’s Tamil entry will make him more of a pan-Indian star. While the Tamil fans were waiting for Jathi Ratnalu's sequel, this announcement made them more eager and cheerful.
