Arindhum Ariyamalum catapulted Arya to stardom, while Navdeep who played the main role had no big offers coming. But slowly and steadily, the boyish actor is proving his worth. In a sense, he can be the next big thing in the industry.

Navdeep says 'I had lots of offers coming my way. Unfortunately I was busy doing a couple of Telugu movie and hence could not concentrate on Tamil films. Having completed all my Telugu commitments, I am here doing two films Ilavattam and Nenjil Jil Jil'.

Navdeep says, 'I would love to act in Tamil films. It gives me great satisfaction. Director Selvah is a good director to work with and I hope that Nenjil Jil Jil would come out well'.

Asked about the gossips regularly doing rounds about him, Navdeep says, 'I don't care about them as long it keeps my name popular among the masses'.
