In the teaser for 'Navasara', the promising Netflix Tamil-language anthology, we see star names such as Suriya, Vijay Sethupathi and Siddharth emoting a range of emotions. Produced by Mani Ratnam and Jayendra Panchapakesan, the anthology tells nine short stories, each of which comes with a different emotion - ranging from anger, compassion, courage, disgust, fear, laughter, love, peace to wonder.

Created by Mani Ratnam, the anthology has been directed by Priyadarshan, Vasanth, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Bejoy Nambiar, Karthik Subbaraj, Sarjun KM, Karthick Naren, Arvind Swami, and Rathindran R. Prasad.

The anthology will start streaming on August 6.

Also featuring Nithya Menen, Arvind Swami, Aishwarya Rajesh, Prakash Raj, Tamil comedian Yogi Babu, yesteryear actress Revathi, Mollywood actress Parvathy Thiruvothu, Ammu Abhirami, and others, the show has cinematography by acclaimed names such as PC Sreeram, Santosh Sivan, and Manoj Paramahamsa.

The nine episodes, named as 'Peace', 'Roudhram' and suchlike, are stand-alone ones. While the anthology is a Tamil original, it will likely also stream in other languages such as Telugu.
