Suriya's 'Soorarai Pottru' directed by Sudha Kongara the first major hero film from Tamil to have a direct OTT release has received unprecedented critical acclaim from allover apart from being one of the years three top viewed films on Amazon Prime Video in the country.

Suriya has moved on to his next 'Navarasa' an 12 part anthology produced by Mani Ratnam for Netflix and his portion directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon with cinematography by P.C. Sreeram.

The working stills of 'Navarasa' that have found its way on the internet shows Suriya in a stunning new getup suggesting that he is playing a singer. Now the hot news is that young Malayalam actress Prayaga Martin is playing Suriya's love interest in the film.

Prayaga Martin who started her career in Malayalam cinema as a child artiste debuted in Tamil as heroine in Myskkin's 'Pisaasu' released in the year 2014. After a long gap she signed 'Kalathil Santhippom' starring Jiiva and Arulnithi Thamizharasu which is awaiting release.
