Karthik starts new party and aligns with ADMK

Veteran actor Karthik has been dabbling in politics over the past several years, first becoming a member of the Forward Bloc, then breaking out to start his own party Ahila India Naadalum Makkal Katchi.  He has now started a brand new party called Manitha Urimai Kaakum Kachi.

The Navarasa Nayagan as he is fondly called paid a visit to Chief Minister Edappadi Pazhaniswamy and has extended his support.  Karthik was last seen playing an insignificant cameo in the Karthi-Rakul Preet starrer 'Dev' and there was controversy as his scene was chopped from the prints playing in India.
