'Navarangi' has a special place in the filmdom. ‘Nava Rasa’ the major constituent of a cinema, nine colors is also part of the film. But in spoken language ‘Navarangi’ is referred to change of attitudes. In this film ‘Navarangi’ starring Akash, Roopika and Sadhu Kokila in lead roles, director Umesh G in his debut refers to the change of attitudes in the people. That is especially when a youngster is growing through hard work; he is pulled down by many for jealous. Such things happening in the film prompted director Umesh to pick the title ‘Navarangi’.

‘Navarangi’ audio was released on Monday evening by noted writer Dr Doddarange Gowda. Rajesh Ramanath is minimum guarantee music director complimented the veteran. On the actors of today the sitting MLC said our actors of cinema are nothing compared to politicians he said. Politicians are better actors he informed.

After a few years of business in home town Manadevappa and Sangamesh Halagathi went to Gulf for business expansion and returned with more money to materialize the dream of making a Kannada cinema.

Anandapriya dialogue writer of the film ‘Navarangi’ has also penned songs. According to him a song on the state of the cinema industry has come out well in the film.

Akash from television serials makes a leap in to cinema. Roopika is in straightforward role in a portion and later switch to regular kind of role in ‘Navarangi’.
