'Natyam' Teaser: Dance is about telling a story visually

'Natyam' stars Kuchipudi exponent and artist Sandhya Raju in the lead. Its teaser was on Wednesday unveiled by Jr NTR. To be released soon in theatres by ace producer Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations, the dance-based drama is penned and helmed by Revanth Korukonda.
A child gets inquisitive about narrative dancing and asks her guru (Aditya Menon) to tell her a story. The teacher narrates an emotional story involving Sandhya Raju, Kamal Kamaraj and Rohit Behal, among others.
Besides headlining the cast, Sandhya Raju has also taken care of choreography and costumes for the movie.
Featuring also Subalekha Sudhakar, this one has Bhanupriya in a role. Rukmini Vijayakumar, Baby Devina and comedian Hyper Adhi are part of the cast.
Produced by Nishrinkala Films, 'Natyam' has music by Shravan Bharadhwaj and cinematography by the director himself. Lyrics are by Karunakar Adigarla. Art Direction is by Mahesh Upputuri. Production Design is by Sandhya Raju. VFX is by Thunder Studios.
Its release date is yet to be announced.
