Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan's Makkal Needhi Maiam party is working in full swing, targeting the Lok Sabha elections 2019, and had earlier today announced that the list of candidates contesting the elections on behalf of Makkal Needhi Maiam will be announced on March 20 by Kamal himself.
With the interview process for the candidate selection that happened over the past few days, followed by this announcement comes another news on an important member of MNM. It has been revealed that CK Kumaravel, the CEO of Naturals Salon and Spa, who had been a member of Makkal Needhi Maiam, has quit the party.
As per reports, the entrepreneur associated with the popular salon, had sent a formal message to Kamal Haasan, the president of Makkal Needhi Maiam, conveying his decision to quit the party. Kumaravel, a senior member of the party has cited difference of opinion with the MNM leadership besides alleging involvement of outsiders, and has said he had lost hope. He was supposed to contest elections on behalf of MNM from Cuddalore.
