Following actors Visu, Gayahtri Raghuram and Gangai Amaren, today actor Ponnambalam has officially enrolled himself as a BJP member in front of Union Minister Pon.Radhakrishnan who is also the lone BJP Lok Sabha MP from Tamil Nadu.
Ponnambalam has acted in over 1000 films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hind languages. He is noted for his performance in villain in the blockbusters of the 1990s especially the films such as 'Nattamai', 'Muthu', 'Indian', 'Arunachalam', Thulladha Manamum Thullum' and 'Mughavaree'.
