The 58th National Awards have been very special to Tamilians, reason – many aces in the industry have fetched a National Award for their excelling roles in their respective fields. Director Vetri Maaran’s ‘Aadukalam’ seemed to be this year’s unanimous favorite with the judging panel what with the film bagging the six awards.

The award winners today met with the Chief Minister Ms. Jayalalithaa, at her office in St. George Fort and received her blessings and wishes.

Director Vetri Maaran was in attendance with his favorite actor Dhanush. The producer of ‘Aadukalam,’ Kadhiresan as well as Kishore Kumar met the Chief Minister in person and received her best wishes for winning the prestigious awards and making the state proud with their victory.

Dhanush who has been upset due to his father-in-law’s (Superstar) sudden set back in health has been instrumental in forwarding pictures of the superstar to calm the perturbed fans of Rajinikanth.

We wish Dhanush, Vetri Maaran and all the national award winners a hearty congratulations, and wish them the best for all their future projects.
