The national award winner actress Parvathy recently said in gathering of Women in Cinema Collective at Kochi, celebrating a year since its inception, actress Parvathy explained about its latest initiative called Punarvayana.
She said that she believes to learn from our past and start talking about it instead of only pointing fingers and asking questions. If we are asking questions, we should be asking the right ones. It’s also to bring the focus back to cinema itself
The team screened the movie Mirch Masala and also discussed what the film meant to different participants. In the coming months, they are expecting bigger participation and hope it will bring more awareness on why cinema is an extremely important part of our politics and how it influences our society.
