Natchathiram Nagargiradhu
Natchathiram Nagargirathu is a romantic musical film directed by Pa. Ranjith and starring Kalidas Jayaram in the lead role. Actress Dushara Vijayan plays the female lead in the movie and she plays the character of Rene.
The film's poster and the teaser have given the audience an understanding that the film will also have its views on LGBTQ relationships and director Pa Ranjith has expressed it boldly. The film also stars a bunch of newcomers with Tenma as music composer.
The first look poster of the film featured actor Dushara Vijayan in the centre, which might indicate that the story will revolve around her character. Kalaiyarasan and Kalidas Jayaram and other actors' characters can also be seen in the main character's blue hair.
The film's music is courtesy of Tenma and the lyrics are by Uma Devi and Arivu. It also marks Pa Ranjith's return to the romance genre after his debut in 2012 with the film Attakathi. Produced by Neelam Productions and Yaazhi Films, Natchathiram Nagargiradhu is scheduled to be released in theatres on 31 August 2022.
