The just concluded India's tour of Australia was a successful one for the Indian team, as they won the T20 series as well as the test series, and the victory in the Border Gavaskar trophy was a historic one.

This series saw many youngsters making their international cricket debuts namely Natarajan, Shardul Thakur, Navdeep Saini, Washington Sundar and Shubman Gill, and all of them played a good role in the victory.
