Directed by debutante Veena Bakshi, it will be competing in the feature film section for the River to River Bitebay Audience Award. ‘Coffin Maker’ is produced by Bharat and Ambika Vijan’s Shree Narayan Studio Pvt. Ltd.

As a matter of fact, Megastar Amitabh Bachchan was the special guest from Bollywood last year, who went to the River to River film festival in Italy to celebrate 100 years of Cinema, and this year another doyen of Indian cinema, Nasseruddin's film ‘Coffin Maker’ will premiere at the festival.

‘The Coffin Maker’ is a life changing film. Set against the authentic and seductive spirit of a Goan Village, ‘The Coffin Maker’ is a poignant tale about a reluctant Coffin Maker who learns about life from a very unusual and mysterious source.

‘The Coffin Maker’ exemplifies the genius and the exceptional talent of Nasseruddin yet again. Randeep Hooda looking very dapper and handsome, more like a charming Hollywood hero, in the best performance of his life with his real life mentor Nassersaab.

It’s a constant battle of wits between the two protagonists in a mental game that transports the inspirational film to a very different level. Ratna Pathak Shah plays Nasseruddin’s catholic wife Isabella that will surely charm the audience yet again. Besides Benjamin Gilani, Amit Sial, Mahabanoo Mody-Kotwal and Shilpa Shukla in pivotal roles.
