If there is one man who has to be credited and praised for the free and fair conduct of the toughly fought Nadigar Sangam Elections yesterday it is none other than Retired Justice E.Padmanabhan who was appointed as the Presiding Officer of the elections by the Madras High Court.

R.Sarathkumar, the outgoing President of the Sangam appreciated Justice Padmanabhan for conducting the election in such a democratic and rightful manner. The Pandavar Ani members also praised the Election officer's way of conducting the elections.

The Pandavar Ani's respect to Justice Padmanabhan did not stop with words of appreciation. When they received the Certificate announcing their eligibility for the posts they contested after winning the elections with higher number of votes each of them, including the senior most member of the Pandavar Ani and also the new President of Nadigar Sangam touched his feet as a mark of respect and got the elderly officer's blessings.

President Nasser, General Secretary Vishal, Treasurer Karthi, Vice Presidents Karunaas and Ponvannan and also the newly elected Executive Members of the council are expected to assume charge in a formal event to be held soon.
