Nasser's detailed reply to Sarathkumar's charges on Pandavar Ani

For the first time the Pandavar Ani's important member Nasser responded to Nadigar Sangam President R.Sarathkumar's charge on the Pandavar Ani.

Sarathkumar in his media interactions had stated that the Pandavar Ani has been accusing him of irregularities in managing the finances of the Sangam without any evidence and causing insult to his image. He had also filed a defamation suit against Vishal and S.VeSekar on this charge.

In the press meet organised yesterday Nasser said "They (Sarathkumar and his team of incumbent office bearers of the Sangam) have been making such charges on us ever since we started questioning them. First they said Vishal projects his own problem as Sangam's problem. Then they said we have political backing. Then they said we are bringing caste support. Then they accused me of badmouthing Drama artists. Today they are resorting to this. They don't have any allegation on us with proof.

Now at this moment he (Sarathkumar) is alleging that Kamal haasan is conspiring to split the Sangam and using as his puppets. We are adults and we can think on our own. While explaining our campaign to Kamal Haasan, I said that we will team up with National School of Drama and with their help Shankar Das Swamigal's dramas can be revamped and popularised again. Kamal suggested that we can team up with Sahithya Academy and NSD so that the efforts to revamp dramas will get a new dimension. Why a person speaking like this should field us against someone?

Why so many people have to are against Sarathkumar? One should think about this.

Muraigedu' (Irregularity) is not a wrong word. Poochi murugan filed a case against them. The judgment in that case says that there has been gross mismanagement of the institution. Tell me what can be said in Tamil?. The Judge says it is Ottumotha Nirvaaga seerkedu. We actually tuned it down and said Muraigedu. What will they do against the term usedby the Judge? Will they file a case against them?
