Naseeruddin Shah's son becomes Anushka Sharma's driver!

Following the steps of his father, the acting ace Naseeruddin Shah, son Vivaan Shah is learning the ropes of his profession from scratch.

We heard that the ‘Saath Khoon Maaf’ fame youngster was so keen to do a project, that he was even willing to do a minuscule character. The movie in question is ‘Bombay Velvet’, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma. It is said that Vivaan in fact approached Anurag Kashyap’s casting team and insisted to play a driver’s role that was available in the film.

Vivaan took such decision following his dad’s advice to do any kind of role in the film no matter how small, since it has several characters. He believed in quality of role rather than its length. And when Kashyap agreed, he was very much impressed with the boy’s skills. Not only he justified his role, but also was very good at it.

And that’s how he turned out to be Anushka’s driver in the film. Truly a great student! Vivaan currently is working on Farah Khan’s multi-starrer drama ‘Happy New Year’.
