American space agency NASA announced a shocking revelation on Thursday that it found a similar solar system to ours, with 8 planets revolving around its star. NASA was able to make this discovery with the help of Kepler Space Telescope and Artificial Intelligence.
However the space agency also disclosed that none of the planets are hospitable. The eight planet system orbits a star known as Kepler 90 which is at a distance of 2,545 light years away from us. NASA also found the newly identified planet Kepler-90i to be rocky like earth and orbited around its star every 14.4 days. It also found its temperature to be 800 degrees Farenheit .
NASA came out with the Kepler Telescope in 2009 and as of now, 150,000 stars have been scanned by the same. Using the data, astronomers have also been able to find about 2,500 similar worlds apart from our solar system.
As far as the findings go, Kepler has the largest system away from us with the same number of planets revolving around it.
