Nandamuri Balakrishna on Monday made a surprising announcement. In the early 2000s, he launched a mythological film titled 'Nartanasala', which is based on the Virata Parvam of Mahabharata. The film drew from late NT Rama Rao's 1963 classic of the same name. It's one of the favourite movies of the 'Legend' and 'Simha' actor.
Due to various reasons, the project, which was being directed by Balayya himself, was stalled after it was shot for some days. Balayya is going to release a 17-minute footage of the film on October 24, on Shreyas ET (an OTT-like platform).
"This is a Vijayadasami gift to you all. I have played Arjuna, Soundarya has played Draupadi, Sri Hari has played Bheema, while Sarath Babu has played Dharma Raju in it. Collections from the movie will be given away in charity partly," Balayya said.
Not just Balayya's fans but also fans of mythological films, of late Soundarya and Sri Hari will be thrilled to watch it.
