Recently, actress Hema came out in the open and alleged that MAA's funding strategy has taken a blow under VK Naresh's Presidentship. She made certain allegations against Naresh and suggested that his tenure has seen MAA's fund pool almost dry up.

On his part, Naresh has refuted the allegations and said that he and a few others like Jeevitha Rajasekhar have made personal donations to the MAA in recent years. The President added that fund-raising events couldn't be held during his tenure because of the pandemic.

It's reported that Naresh has already sent show-cause notices to Hema for making the allegedly unfounded allegations against him. Meanwhile, the 'Sammohanam' and 'Shatamanam Bhavati' actor is said to be believing that Hema's allegations were not autonomous. He believes that some 'Shakti' is behind her.

The MAA issue has also been in the news ever since Megastar Chiranjeevi on Monday opined that the election should be held at the earliest. As per some people, Naresh is not keen on holding the election for another six months. It's alleged that he wants to cling on to the office by postponing them on some or the other pretext.
