PM Modi has the most number of Twitter followers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also reigns supreme in his Twitter game becoming the most followed person in the social media site by Indians. Hashtags #GST and #MannKiBaat found spots in the top three trending hashtags for the last year under politics and news segments.

@narendramodi, Modi’s official twitter handle is followed by over 3.75 million tweeps. In addition to this, Modi is the only political personality on the top ten list while the others include major film stars and sports pesonalities including Sachin and Virat Kohli.

Interestingly, Narendra Modi is the second most politician followed in the world only next to former AmericanPresident Barrack Obama. This is the second time in a row that Narendra Modi has got the distinction of being followed the most in Twitter.
