This time, he wil be playing the same for the remake of the famous Kamal hassan movie 'Kaakkichattai'. The original featuring Kamalhassan as an youngster forced to play the role of cop under over was directed by Rajasekhar and featured Ambika and Madhavi as the heroines.

This time Naren will be taking over the same role in Malayalam. The movie project to be directed by Shaji Kailas is expected to give a popular appeal to the actor who is currently struggling in popularity due to his wrong selection of commercially viable characters.
