'Head Constable Venkatramayya' is touted as a clean family entertainer in which R Narayanamurthy and Jayasudha are paired up as husband and wife. Directed by Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao, the movie has music by 'Vandemataram' Srinivas.

The director, who has also written the story, dialogues and screenplay, says, "The film will be started off from the 19th of this month at Ramoji Film City in the presence of who's who of the industry. The shoot will go on for 60 days at RFC and in areas abutting Hyderabad. The subject is about how a sincere-minded cop faces problems in personal and professional life and how he overcomes them. I entered the industry with passion toward cinema. I have had a desire to make a clean entertainer high on family values. Besides emotional content, our film has all commercial elements."

Chadalavada Padmavathi of Sri Tirumala Tirupathi Venkateshwara Films (whose recent 'Bicchagadu' earned Rs. 25 cr) said that the combination of R Narayanamurthy and Jayasudha will be special. Since music is important for a Narayanamurthy movie, care has been taken to ensure it's good. Lyrics are by Suddala Ashok Teja and Goreti Venkanna. Cinematography is by Sudhakar Reddy.
