Narayana Murthy disappointed by Infosys board decision

N.R Narayana Murthy, the co-founder and former chairman of Infosys has expressed his disappointment over the software giant’s non-addressed governance lapses. Narayana Murthy stated that none of his questions over the company’s governance issues in the recent past has been answered with transparency.

Narayana Murthy who is one of the seven founders of Infosys, also raised questions on the board's decision to grant a severance payment agreement of 1000 % to former CFO Rajiv Bansal and why the company’s board did not divulge the fact earlier with transparency.

It should be also be noted that Narayana Murthy and the former CEO Vishal Sikka had a public row earlier over the company’s governance.  Infosys which is the country’s second largest provider of Information Technology services is currently run by co-founder Nandan Nilakeni.
