Veteran actor Venkatesh Daggubati's next is revenge action film 'Narappa'. It is one of the most awaited movies in the Telugu industry. Narappa is the official Telugu remake of Tamil Blockbuster 'Asuran'.

Asuran is a National award-winning film by Vetrimaaran starring Dhanush and Manju Warrier. The movie is based on a novel named Vekkai by Poomani. An interesting fact is that a decade back Dhanush featured in Yaaradi nee Mohini, the remake of Venkatesh starrer Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule and now Venkatesh is playing the lead in Dhanush's Asuran.

The latest update on Narappa is that the first song from the album is all set to be unveiled at 10 AM on July 11th. The production house has officially confirmed the release of the Chalaaki Chinnammi song through Twitter.

Suresh Productions have tweeted, "Get ready to meet Narappa and his family soon #ChalaakiChinnammi from #Narappa will be out on July 11th at 10:00 am." regarding the release of the first song of Narappa.

Actress Priyamani plays the female lead in the film. Also, Karthik Rathnam, Prakash Raj, Murali Sharma, and Sampath Raj can be seen in prominent roles. Narappa was earlier scheduled to release on 14th May but postponed due to pandemic lockdown. Sources say that the movie team is confused about the release plan as they planned for an OTT release but the theaters might be opened in the upcoming weeks.
