Karthik Naren who directed the critical and commercial hit 'Dhuruvangal 16' has currently completed his new thriller 'Naragasooran' co-produced by Gautham Vasudev Menon.  The film has Arvind Swamy, Sundeep Kishan, Indrajith and Shriya Saran in the cast.  The young director also recently announced his third film 'Nadaga Medai'./

A recent tweet of Karthik Naren has created huge ripples in Kollywood as he has suggested that someone on whom he has placed a high trust has cheated him.  It is unknown who the director is implying to but here is his digital statement "Sometimes a misplaced trust may kill you. People should think twice before taking it for a ride. The last thing you want to see is your passion getting butchered from all the directions for a mistake you did not commit. Threshold!"
