According to reports, the Rowdy Fellow star is the new entrant of the ever growing list of actors, who picked up a mike to sing. Sources say Rohit has crooned a song for the first time in his upcoming rom-com Savitri, at the behest of music composer Shravan.

A source in the know explains that there is a wonderful song in the film and Shravan wanted Nara Rohit to sing it as the actor's voice would give a value addition to the song. And the answer from the actor is an immediate yes`. Directed by Pavan Sadhineni, Savitri will see Nandita Raj as the love interest of Rohit. VB Rajendra Prasad is producing this film slotted for release on March 25.
