Red Carpet Reels that announced ‘Ashokavana’ in the production of M Gowri, SL Saravana and J Samson Babu sometime in 2010 has come back with a new title ‘Nanthara’ starring Kokila Mohan and Dimple Chopda in lead roles ready with the first print of the film.

‘Nanthara’ of the same banner with Murali, Suresh, Ravi as producers claims that the shooting has been completed in Madikeri, Vizag and Bangalore. Sam J Chaitanya is the director with SL Aryan Saro as cameraman, A Madhusoodhan music for lyrics of V Manohar and Nagendra Prasad. Suresh art, Prakash stunts are part of this film.

In the supporting cast of ‘Nanthara’ are Sadhu Kokila, Satyaprakash, Harshavardhana and Rachana Mourya and others.

Kokila Mohan returned to Kannada cinema after a long gap in ‘Gautham’ Kannada cinema a remake. He announced ‘Ashokavana’ but there is no news of the film since three years. Another unfinished project of Kokila Mohan is with director TS Nagabharana ‘Shuba Kala Barthaithe’.
