A complainant approached the State Minorities Commission seeking the taking down of certain posters of 'Nannaku Prematho' on the grounds that they hurt the Muslim sentiments.
According to a ruling by the Commission given yesterday, the posters which according to the complainant show the lead pair in "obscene posture with the backdrop of the name of Allah, Prophet Mohammed and some Qur'anic verses", should be withdrawn. It's also reported that the complainant did not raise any objection to the film but only to the posters.
The poster you are seeing here is the blurred one released by the makers after withdrawing the "hurtful" poster.
