Actor Nani has snapped the remake rights of Tamil film Pannaiyarum Padminiyum a couple of years ago. The project was supposed to go onto the sets before Nani began working for Yevade Subrahmanyam but got delayed due to some reasons. The actor is now planning to restart the project soon. The film`s story revolves around the relationship of a landlord and his vintage Fiat Padmini car.

In his recent interaction, Nani stated that the script for the Telugu version is ready but he is clueless on when to kick-start the proceedings of this film. But the Eega actor made it clear that he will be donning the producer`s hat soon. The actor went onto say that he bought Fiat Padmini car for the film and got it parked in his garage for the shoot.

Currently, Nani is busy wrapping up his next release directed by Indraganti Mohan Krishna.
