Deepthi Ghanta is based in the US. Natural Star Nani's sister, she has directed a meaningful short-film titled 'Anaganaga Oka Nanna', which was released on Sunday to mark Father's Day. Starring Vanshika Reddy, Lekhana, Siddhartha, Seema Choudhary and TNR, it is jointly produced by Nani on Wall Poster Shots and Venkat Siddareddy on Navatarangam Chalana Chitram.

The 11-minute film has come in for applause for its thought-provoking message about gender equality. A father discriminating against a girl child can be the cause of unforeseen consequences for individual, family and society, the short-film shows.

With music by Karthik Kumar Rodriguez and cinematography by Rakesh Samala, it is edited by Naveen Nooli. Production Design is by Ravi Antony.
