Nani’s 'Shyam Singha Roy' has announced its release date. The film will hit the screens on December 24.
On Monday, the makers revealed that it is going to be a multi-lingual release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the big-ticket flick has got a first-of-its-kind concept as per the makers. Produced by Venkat Boyanapalli of Niharika Entertainment, 'SSR' is said to be the most expensive film in the actor's career.
Nani will be seen as Vasu as well as a Bengali named Roy. But it is not a double role. Featuring an epic love tale between Nani and Sai Pallavi, the film is a period drama. Krithi Shetty of 'Uppena' fame and Madonna Sebastian have key roles.
The multi-lingual release has come as a surprise. The makers are betting on Nani's popularity in other languages, thanks to 'Naan Ee' ('Eega') being a hit in Tamil.
Currently in the post-production phase, the VFX-heavy movie has music by Mickey J Meyer. The cinematography is by Sanu John Varghese. Choreography is by National Award winner Kruti Mahesh and Yash. Rahul Ravindran, Murali Sharma, Abhinav Gomatam, Jishu Sen Gupta, Leela Samson, Manish Wadwa, and Barun Chanda are part of the cast.
