The title may be 'Middle Class Abbayi', but Nani is the Box Office's high-class abbayi. 'MCA', released on Thursday (December 21), has reportedly ruled high like never before in the history of Nani's filmography.
By grossing more than Rs. 15 Cr, it has also collected a distributors' share of Rs. 7.70 Cr in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Nizam at more than Rs. 3.10 Cr and Ceded at Rs. 1.30 Cr are the biggest contributors. Uttarandhra's share is pegged at Rs. 0.93 Cr (approx).
Nani's image, the family entertainer vibes carried by 'MCA' and the release ensured by Dil Raju, have all gone into making 'MCA' a stellar opening film at the BO. Sai Pallavi's popularity, thanks to 'Fidaa', must have also been a crowd-puller of reckoning.
