Amidst rumours that Nani and Puri Jagannadh will team up for a film, the actor has refuted the reports. "Not true," he has said on Tuesday. The 'Mehbooba' director could most likely work with his son Akash Puri next.

Sanjana Anne, the ousted Bigg Boss-2 contestant, is on record stating that NTR is like an iPhone and Nani is like a normal phone in hosting the reality show. As a reply to her comments, the 'MCA' actor today quipped, "Same pinch. I like iPhone too". Does he mean to say he too likes NTR's hosting more than his own work?

The actor will be seen as a cricketer in 'Jersey', to be directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri of 'Malli Raava' fame. The emotional drama will be produced by Naga Vamsi of Sitara Entertainments. He is currently doing a film with Nagarjuna and director Sreeram Aditya. It could release in September.
