"People tell me I don't have a background as if it were a handicap. But it's the biggest boon. It's because when someone tells me, 'I am your fan', I can be sure that he is MY (and my) fan alone," Nani had said before the release of 'Nenu Local'. It was seen as an indirect 'punch' to star kids.
The Natural Star has once again given an indirect 'punch' to big stars in his latest interview. "Whenever I listen to a script, I put myself in the shoes of the person watching a movie at Satyam Theatre. My perspective is always that. I don't concern myself with how big a release my film is going to have, how many lakhs of fans are going to like it, etc while listening to a story," Nani says.
The producer of 'Awe' has made it clear that he won't be doing non-Telugu films for the reason that he doesn't know other languages. Saying that the likes of Nana Patekar and Prakash Raj have become such acclaimed actors because of their command over the language, the 'MCA' actor says that he doesn't want to be ridiculed by non-Telugu audiences.
