Heroes doubling up as acting gurus is nothing new. Sometimes, they are as instrumental in teaching their heroines about the techniques of acting as much as the director. Nani has joined this hall of fame.

Mehrene Kaur Pirzada, who is going to debut in Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gaadha, has said that Nani helped her take her acting a notch higher. In fact, it was Nani who helped her improvise on spot.

Hanu Raghavapudi, who debuted with Andala Rakshasi, selected her after auditions, which she says were conducted very professionally. She will be seen in traditional attire in this film, much like Lavanya Tripathi was seen in desi wear in Andala Rakshasi.

Interestingly, even as she awaits the release of her first film, she has signed on the dotted line for two more projects in Telugu, apart from one in Tamil.
