Nani has thanked Pawan Kalyan for batting for the well-being of the Telugu film industry. The Natural Star mildly suggested that the grievances of Tollywood are larger than the political chasm between the Jana Sena supremo and YCP.

"Keeping aside the political differences between Pawan Kalyan sir and AP Government. The film industry issues addressed (in the speech by PK at the pre-release event of 'Republic') are genuine and needs immediate attention (sic)," the 'Tuck Jagadish' actor wrote on Twitter.

The 'Ante Sundarani' star made a request to AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy as a member of the film fraternity. "I request the CM and the concerned Ministers to look into it before it gets too late for the cinema to revive," he added.

Nani was the first star to support Power Star. After him, 'RX 100' and 'Raja Vikramarka' actor Kartikeya Gummakonda too tweeted in his support. Senior character artist Brahmaji, too, supported him. "We are with you, Pawan Kalyan sir," he wrote.
