It is not uncommon for us to hear about actresses taking up bold roles in the recent times. While it’s a given that such roles would give them enough space to portray their acting prowess, many actresses are averse to such roles, say a mother to a seven year old.

Here’s the update: Nandita Swetha who has already impressed us in her outings like Vijay’s ‘Puli’ and Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Itharkuthaane Aasaipattaai Balakumara’ will be essaying a mother’s role in her upcoming movie. The film will be directed by Geetha Rajput who has assisted Bala earlier and this is said to be a female centric movie as well.

Debutant Renesh will be playing the character of the son in this movie which will be covering the theme of mother-son relationship. It is also worth noting here Vijay vasanth, MS Bhaskar and Santhosh Pratap will be a part of this exciting movie. 

While the film will be reportedly going on floors coming May 15, we can expect an official announcement regarding the full cast and crew details from the makers any time soon.
