A day after the Nandi Awards threw up some surprising and "partisan" results, producer Bunny Vas boldly said on Facebook that Mega heroes should learn acting skills from the AP Government. Through the now-deleted post, he was hitting out at the "raw deal" that the Mega heroes have got with respect to the Nandis.

After him, director Maruthi, sharing a video, has put out a cryptic message on Twitter. In the video clip, drawn from a TV serial, awards are being given away in various categories like Best Akka, Best Chelli, Best Savithi-I, Best Savithi-II, and so on. Gundu Hanumantha Rao and Harshavardhan are seen gossiping about the bizarre awards show. "It seems the awards are being given away to those known to Balaji in the industry," says a character.

The name 'Balaji' can be interpreted as a pun! Maruthi has been congratulated by his followers for being courageous.

Tollywood seems to be witnessing the unfolding of a big controversy.
