The firebrand actor of Hindi cinema Nana Patekar with strong roots in theatre is coming to Kannada cinema again. It was a big entry for Nana Patekar in Yogish acted Kannada film ‘Yaksha’. Nana played the role of cop Yogaraj Pulakeshi in that film.

Nana is back after a long gap in lady director Chandrakala film ‘Chillam’. This is the film that marks the return of second son of Dr Rajakumar – Raghavendra Rajakumar as villain. He returns to acting after 18 years.

Nana Patekar has given dates in June after taking two and half months to give approval. For the mother is Saritha.

‘Chillam’ stars Manoranjan V Ravichandran in the role of hero. He is a drug peddler in this film. The first look of Manoranjan character is set for release on 30th of May – birthday of V Ravichandran.

Ganapa fame actress Priyanka Thimmesh is female lead, Big Boss participant Divakar, Raghava Nag, son of director Chandrakala Bharat, Sandeep and others are in the cast.

Naveen Kumar who handled cinematography for ‘Mufti’ super hit film is wielding camera, Nobil Paul music for songs and background part of the main technical team.

In Bijapur, Bengaluru, Goa, Calcutta and other locations are picked for shooting says producer Gopal. The film is set to go on floor on 16th of May.
