For more a couple of weeks, it has been believed that Mahesh Babu and his 'Maharshi' director Vamshi Paidipally are not on good terms. After all, Vamshi couldn't get the superstar's nod for his script and, as a consequence, their project has been called off.

However, just because the project is not there, it doesn't mean the duo is not on talking terms. If you needed any proof, Namrata Shirodkar and Vamshi himself provided it most recently.

Mahesh's wife and Vamshi were spotted at the wedding reception of Jayasudha's elder son Nihar Kapoor the other day. The families of the director and the 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' actor have been family friends, as proven by their joint bashes and the bonding between Sitara (Mahesh's daughter) and Vamshi's daughter.

By appearing together on the stage at Nihar's reception event, Namrata and Vamshi have unwittingly made a statement against the unfounded rumours.

While Mahesh will do a film with 'Geetha Govindam' director Parasuram next, he will team up with Vamsi if and when the right kind of script comes his way. Till then, they will be offscreen friends and nothing more.
