Nammanna's problem with the censor board

Sudeep-starrer Nammanna which was supposed to be released last week saw a last minute delay, thanks to troubles that brewed at the censor board. Apparently, the film was rejected by the board as the members viewing the film found part of the film inappropriate and has suggested that the climax should be changed.
The story revolves around two brothers who are compelled to leave the village they have grown up in as they are being bothered by naxalites around the area. In town, the duo settle down in spite of many cultural differences. The twist in the story takes place when the younger brother becomes the only witness to a crime and therefore is killed by anti social elements.
The story does come with a message, but according to sources, the climax was found to be pro naxalite and therefore could fail to portray the right example to viewers after the release. The film also stars Bollywood actress Anjala Zaveri and Flora Shaine and has been directed by Telugu director Shankar. Nammanna has been produced by Balu Mutthaiah who is now working on acquiring the censor certificate.
