Namitha's Diwali in Andaman

Actress Namitha celebrated Deepavali at the Andaman Islands, where she is busy shooting for the remake film 'Jagan Mohini'.

'Jagan Mohini', directed by Vittalacharya, was a super hit in Telugu and was dubbed in Tamil in 1978. The film had Jayamalini as the lead star.

Now, Lakshmi Movie Makers are producing the remake of this yesteryear hit with the same title and Namitha plays the role of Jayamalini. The film is being shot in the Andaman Islands.

N K Viswanathan, who had cranked the camera for several movies besides directing a few films, directs this horror film.

The sizzling actress Namitha says, The movie has come very good so far. All credit should go to director Viswanathan, who has taken special care in etching out the film.

In 'Jagan Mohini', Namitha shares the screen with Nila and Telugu actor Raja. Maestro Ilayaraja scores the music for this movie. A major part of the shoot is already over.

The role offers ample scopes both for glamour and performance, she adds.
